Positive: This course provides hands on experience with some real time scenarios and problem solving.

Negative: The course does not provide any sort of Internship so that we can practically gain some experience from companies out there.

My advice to future students is: I believe that they should always be open to learning

Positives - I found the resources and facilities provided are excellent.

Negative - The teachers and course materials are sub standard and poorly planned and managed

My advice to future students is: Question coming to Unsw to do Manufacturing Engineering and management. Try Usa or Canada. Plus there are no more pr prospects for engineers in Australia so basically its useless now to come to Australia.

I doing a civil engineering major.

The lecturers are amazing!

It's very not very experience oriented like some other courses ie not much of it is practical. That's what's negative.

Positive: interesting choice of topics that you can cover.
The lab activities are good and practical, you need to learn programs, for example Matlab.

Negative: some of the methods of teaching could have been improved
