Positives: The positive aspects of my course is that I get the chance to learn about different softwares and express my creativity, my classmates are also really helpful and I have met some really interesting people through this course.
Negatives: The cost is a s big negative aspect because we have to pay for our own materials and for printing. We are students to we shoukd get at least some type of student discount.
My advice to future students is: The advice I would give is, my course is not hard but it's really time consuming, you have to be sure that you love architecture because that is what you will spend most of your days doing.
Positives: The course is very interesting it was really a good experience to gaining such amount of information in a good and healthy environment. This could help student to develop their creativity
Negatives: The course was very intense and the students may feel tired
My advice to future students is: The university as well as the major are very recommended but be carefull for the time management
The subjects and course work was really interesting most of the time. The lecturers and tutes were really engaging and knew so much about the industry. They're great sources of information and ideas so spend time getting to know them. It teaches you how to approach working in this area in an appropriate way.
My advice to future students is: It can be a very stressful course when it comes to deadlines. Make sure you're prepared and submit your work on time.
Positive- great course
Negative-uni needs better tutorial classrooms
My advice to future students is: Stay focused
I'm really glad I chose UTS. The first years subjects are quite theoretical (although, this is probably the case for most), but it expands and grows from there.
There are so many many skilled, knowledgable and progressive staff at UTS. This helps to ensure the course work is up to date and the learning environment is interesting and motivating.
UTS has a great atmosphere generally and for architecture. The culture about learning and applying 'architecture' is really strong. There's a peer knowledge program, which helps to foster learning. You can travel as part of the degree and there's some flexibility with the design studio you can attend. Highly recommended!!!
This is a good course to study and prepares student to gain enough knowledge to solve all work related to design.
I love designing and will recommend you to do as it is not hard as compared to other courses and it enhances your creativity to a great level
