Course Description

This degree is industry-relevant and prepares you from day one for the practical nature of your role as a food and textile technologies teacher.

The curriculum is informed by our world-class research – research that has been ranked number one in SA – and you will undertake specialist courses that will focus on your particular areas of interest. The practical component of this degree begins in the first six months, giving you the opportunity early on to experience exactly what the job is all about. Overseas professional experience is also available to interested students, you can complete up to 20 days of professional experience as part of an overseas placement.
