I'm doing a Mechanical and Materials Engineering double major

Engaging lecturers and access to interesting extracurricular activities.
Inconsistent teaching quality between subjects.

My advice to future students is: Consider doing the subjects in a different order to what is suggested in the course plan. Plan ahead to study abroad and take advantage of all possible financial support.

It gives me an option to study both engineering and explore a bit of management so that I can have a career in management as well in future. However, it doesn't have many hands-on courses in engineering subjects.

My advice to future students is: Try to choose the subjects wisely in the program and find ways to get more hands-on knowledge.

There is an an array of opportunities to major in numerous courses, such as civil or
Mechanical.

One negative is the total contact hours required, however, this is necessary to understand the content.

My advice to future students is: Attending O Week is a must as it allows you to get your bearings around the campus and understand the requirements of the course, as well as other Uni offerings

Completing in 2021
