About the University of Queensland

The University of Queensland (UQ) has one main St Lucia campus which is an inner city suburb of Brisbane.

We have UQ reviews across a range of topics, including Business, Science, Law, Humanities, Health and Engineering.

University of Queensland reviews from students often talk about the campus and recommend attending lectures and tutes (and rate the teaching staff highly!). Some students recommend future students balance the theoretical parts of a course with looking at practical work.

Positives: the positive aspects of my course include learning how to communicate better, which will not only help with being an OT but also in everyday life. And also challenging myself, especially in the anatomy courses :)

Negatives: The negative aspects include that sometimes the OT lectures can be a bit boring and repetitive, and also the workload is extremely intense

My advice to future students is: Don’t procrastinate, ask your tutors for help and just keep trying with anatomy

Positives: * Smaller cohort - I find it easier to develop relationships with lecturers and tutors as there are less people - also easy to make friends

Negatives: Sometimes course content is a bit boring - in terms of the theory side (history & models associated etc.)

My advice to future students is: Stay on top of your work and study frequently rather than all at once at the end

Positives: It has a really Supportive teaching team, a nice small cohort so you can get to know everyone. There are a lot of hands on/practical opportunities

Negatives: Some of the courses are a bit boring and mostly go over common sense content as oppose to teach us know information

My advice to future students is: Don't be afraid to ask for help
