Positive aspects of the course: Any computer science related course is good for people like me who enjoy mathematics and logic-based problems but want something that can be more easily applied to real-world problems. Having my work create something tangible is great.
My course specifically is good for people interested in computer science who intend to do honours afterwards. If not doing Honours then there isn't too much difference between this and normal comp sci courses to be honest
My advice to future students is: Ask fellow students for help when you have trouble, and if you're not enjoying it at the start probably worth changing courses because it's unlikely you'll enjoy it when it's your career
Get to work on some really interesting equipment however the programming is hard if you have no experience.
My advice to future students is: Get some experience with programming before you start this course.
