I'm majoring in Mechanical and Sustainable Energy.

Positives: The course covers great detail in the field of engineering and most of the lectures try to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. All lectures have interactive experiences to make them more interesting which is great.

Negatives: The work load was far greater than expected, but is manageable. I have definitely felt I am doing more work now than during year 12.

My advice to future students is: Always be on top of the work and don't fall behind. Even the assignments only worth 1-2 percent are worth the trouble.

Faculty is really good in that they are all approachable and tie in real world experience. Negative is that it’s somewhat specialised when graduating

My advice to future students is: Learn as much from your lecturers as you can, build connections, be open to opportunities
