Positives: 1. This course is similar to Civil Engineering but this course does not require students to have high ability in math or physics, this aspect makes the courses much easier compare to other engineering. 2. The society’s demand of the graduate students is very high, it makes easier for graduates to find a job to gain experience.
Negatives: Some subjects involved in this course are pretty boring and seem no relations to the future career pathway.
My advice to future students is: Do some preparation before entering the course. Such as knowing the steps and processes of a construction project, able to read some drawing and get familiar with some notations. Most important part is to work hard.
Positives: The positive aspects of this is that the homework which is required is building based and I feel like it covers most of the aspects of building and topics which I need to understand to become a builder
Negatives: The negatives are some of the different subjects aren't really related to my course and it feels like a waste sometimes
My advice to future students is: Don't slack off. Do the work early and cover everything properly. Also prepare as well as you can for your exams so you aren't stressed
Teachers are knowledgeable the course is exciting
Negative is timetabling is all over the place
My advice to future students is: Study hard, do your pre work and stay on top of your assignments and attend lectures
