Studying the course at Macquarie was fantastic. I was given ample opportunity to gain lots of different experiences.
Whether this be going on exchange for a semester, PACE subjects giving a hands-on and practical approach for the degree, or work experience opportunities.
The PACE subject I completed this semester for my Marketing degree had me and my group working for American Express to develop a lending product for them which they might use.
In a previous assignment we got to work alongside Harris Farm to develop a mobile application to improve their customer relationship management - it was in all an amazing experience.
Positive aspects I highly enjoy the subjects I have completed, they are relevant to my career I wish to follow
Negative aspects, there has been subjects that are extremely vague in the way they were taught resulting in bad grades.
Positive aspects - it is a very broad degree which allows me to be flexible in choosing a further career path.
Negative aspects - a lot of the first year subject are very irrelevant to my degree.
I really liked this course. There were some elements that probably should be thought through more / updated / taught differently.
There are elements of the course that prepare you for work, but some which I probably wont look at or use again.
Very helpful for a future career in opening a business, many majors to choose from.
Semesters can be a bit rushed and some content takes longer to understand
Positive aspects are that there are a lot of options to choose from and is very flexible.
The negative aspect is that some subjects need some more clarification and could be better set out
I couldn't recommend this enough
Loved learning new concepts of accounting
Some teachers should provide more/better feedback
I'd definitely recommend this course to a friend.
Positive: it's chill course to study - ie not too stressful
Negative: sometimes tedious / boring
I couldn't recommend this enough.
The course is easy to understand and the staff/facilities of really good quality.
I find this course really practical for the course area!
