Positives: Although I did not finish this degree, the best part of the course was the facilities. The science labs were very well equipped which made learning about human anatomy and physiology very eye-opening and engaging. The science component of the course was very impressive. Having a good knowledge of biology and chemistry is very helpful for this field of work.
Negatives: I found that there was limited support provided for students studying this course. The online learning platforms provided limited information and were barely used for communication or collaboration. This made it more difficult to seek answers about assessments or to get help with general content, as obtaining a reply from a tutor often took several days.
My advice to future students is: Students thinking of studying this degree should not underestimate the science component of this course. I wish I knew how advanced the work would be! A background in chemistry or biology would be very helpful.
