Positives: Some what affordable, good staff, enough facilities
Negatives: expensive, keeps money first , thinks about profit only
My advice to future students is: good uni, can help you get a career in IT
Positives: The teachers are very friendly with the students. Between the lectures we can go and ask questions or in break sessions. They always solve doubts for us. We don't have to carry books, we can just carry our laptop and see slides while teacher is teaching.
Negatives: The negative aspects are that many of the shops or book store of Deakin closes after 5 p.m. This makes it inconvinent for the students to get food or stationary material.
My advice to future students is: Students should work hard when coming here. They should focus more on their study instead of doing casual job because casual job is not permanent.
Positives: To begin with, the quality of the course itself is very good, the units that are included within the course are up to date with the current technologies and market demands. Secondly the teachers are really helpful and reply very fast to emails as well as personal queries.
Negatives: As of now I haven't found any negative aspects as such but I do feel that the lectures should have their timings earlier in the day
My advice to future students is: I would advise students to thoroughly research about the course and then only opt for, not just because of peer pressure. Also I would recommend students to go through the units and carefully decide their speacializations before hand
The course is more practical which is excellent for this area. There's plenty of theory still but you work through problems on different programs which makes it really handy and more 'real life'.
My advice to future students is: Make sure you study and put plenty of time into this, there are plenty of technical parts which can make it hard.
I find this course too expensive for what you get out of it.
I find this course really fun, engaging and current.
It does involve a lot of work, so it's best to be prepared.
Course structure and facilities are really good!
This is a really enjoyable course.
This course would be most relevant for those with computer science, engineering or straight IT background.
There's a lot of work involved but it's well structured and plenty to get your teeth stuck into!
It's a very good environment and course structure. Lots of focus on recent developments in the technology space. Facilities are really good. Staff are good sources of information.
It is an amazing course and I really enjoy it. It's fast paced as we learn industry background and spend plenty of time on new technologies. The staff are up to date with the latest trends in technology which is inspiring.
With the amount of knowledge that i have got while studying this course i would say it's a good option to take this course.
If you do look at this course, you have to be prepared for a lot of work and pressure to handle completing this successfully.
