The course was just updated to better reflect business operations in todays environment but still leaves a lot to be desired. In particular marketing subjects are based on textbook rather than actual applications.

It is however easy to study online

Positive- diversity in courses offered that cover different areas of the business sector

Negative - you can't narrow down the degree and study more particular courses related to where you want to take your degree you are still required to study units that may not interest you.

My advice to future students is: Know what you want before you start i.e research it and try to decide if you want to do marketing, managment, accounting, economics ect so you don't end up studying something you hate and paying again to study what you want

Positive is that it is offered for remote students and a large variety of modules within the course. The online platform is easy to navigate and plenty of support for distance students.

Negative is that the learning is inconsistent with the real world. A lot of the lecturers even state that things are done differently in the real world situation....

My advice to future students is: Make sure you know exactly what you want at the end of your course so you can choose your learning accordingly. Also if learning via distance education try and connect with another student in your area to converse about topics in person. It makes all of the difference.

I'm studying a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Nursing.

Positives: Flexibility for the bachelor of business, I study it distance education and 80% of it doesn't have to be in a certain order

Negatives: Bachelor of Nursing is not flexible which makes it hard to do part time

My advice to future students is: Make sure you look into both degrees very early on, especially if you haven't got all your immunisation

I did this course online.

Positives: This course was delivered online and was really flexible. The flexibility allowed me to study at my own pace, however still ensuring assignments and due dates were met.

Negatives: The only negative is the interaction and accessibility to tutors for assistance. It’s not really a negative as the online assistance is really good, however the limited face to face time was challenging at times.

My advice to future students is: If considering online delivery, ensure that you remain focused
